James came up with the idea for Dark Journey, a supernatural story set in London while walking one evening in his local area of Hampstead, which due to the buildings and narrow streets has an eerie and haunted look after dark.
He decided to write a story about a naive and vulnerable girl who comes over to London from the U.S. and rents a flat in Hampstead. James manages to capture an emotionally charged performance from the beautiful young actress.
